THE BARDIC LEGEND OF THE SEGWAY WARRIOR

The night was calm, and two worn strangers
Walked their homeward path.
But they never knew the dangers
Of the Segway Warrior's wrath!

To hear a sound, behind them still,
But gaining ground quite fast,
Instilled in them a deathly chill
That this night they'd not last!

Just the wind, said they,
But their hearts began to pound,
For never should one ever stay
When the Warrior is around!

Suddenly, a raucous laugh
Sliced through the chill-gripped air!
The wayward couple turned,
To see the Warrior riding there!

With gleaming grin and glowing eyes
He revved the Segway higher!
Its body was Damascus Steel;
The wheels were made of fire!

The couple ran, to scream, to shout,
With horror on their faces!
But their voices were soon drowned out
By the growling of the basses!

I cannot say for certain
That the story's not absurd.
But at the Warrior's final curtain
These are all the tracks we've heard.
